Sajaa Pickup Rental · Customer guidance

Truck capacity is not crane capacity
The tonnage in a crane pickup’s name should not be treated as its lifting rating. A crane’s usable lifting capacity depends on its configuration and reach. Ask the operator to assess the specific load and position. Do not infer a safe lift from a vehicle photograph or a general rental description.
Provide dependable load details
Send verified weight, dimensions and the manufacturer’s lifting instructions where available. Identify the centre of gravity and approved lifting points through the appropriate technical documentation. Photographs help explain the setup but cannot replace weight data. If information is missing, have the equipment owner establish it before arranging the lift.
Describe the work area
Share access width, overhead obstructions, the proposed vehicle position and the distance to the load. Ground conditions and available setup space need operator assessment. Keep people out of the planned lifting area and coordinate with the site contact. Never improvise a lifting position because the truck has already arrived.
Separate transport and site responsibilities
Confirm who isolates the machine, provides site access and receives it at the destination. Ask what the transport quote includes and whether extra equipment is needed. A crane pickup enquiry should result in a reviewed lifting plan, not merely a time slot and a truck name.
Your pre-booking checklist

- Approved lifting points
